Welcome to the Ascent Climbing Centre! We opened our doors to climbers of Southern Alberta in December 1995. Our facility has relocated and now operated by the University of Lethbridge as part of the new Sport & Wellness Centre. We are proud to be part of this new facility and invite you to come and visit us in our new home. Our goal is to maintain a quality climbing facility that provides enjoyable, safe and affordable vertical recreation for you, your family or your group. FACILITY FEATURES
CLIMBING IS ONE OF NORTH AMERICA'S FASTEST GROWING SPORTS! Come on down and check us out. We offer courses & classes for all ages and abilities. Birthday parties and group bookings are also available and our new Adventure Scout program is soon to be one of Southern Alberta's premier youth programs. CLICK ON OUR LINKS FOR FURTHER INFORMATION ! email us at ascent. climbing@uleth.ca OPEN CLIMBING HOURS MONDAY - THURSDAY 11:00am - 11:00pm FRIDAY 11:00am - 9:00pm SATURDAY & SUNDAY 11:00am - 8:00pm Users of our facility must have a waiver signed and pass a belay test (if you don't know what this is you will need to take a course). Climbers may accompany someone who has a User's Card for our facility. Group Bookings etc. can be scheduled at almost any time and booked at least a week in advance.
