Skiing/Snowboarding

 Many well traveled skiers and boarders have been quoted as saying that they have had their best days of skiing/riding EVER, right here at the Castle. Mid week adventures at Castle have often been compared to a cat or heli skiing experience.  The shortage of crowds, and the fantastic fall lines are responsible for this growing reputation.   Castle Mountain Resort is one of the true gems of the rocky mountains.  

Castle Mountain Resort has completed the much anticipated Huckleberry chair on Haig Ridge increasing the intermediate terrain.  There has also been more development at the Base area of the hill.   

Retreats

Castle Mountain is ideal for your Family or Business retreats.  During the ski season Castle can offer your group our great facilities along with fun on the slopes.  During the spring/summer/fall seasons it is easy to focus on your groups activities while enjoying the peace, quiet, and beauty, of this mountain setting.  This location is exceptional for your Business' retreat, Family reunions/retreats, and Weddings.

Snowmobiling

There are tons of snowmobile trails accessible from this area.  Whatever your fancy for sledding might be, groomed trails and open meadows will take you for a great day of touring, or they can take you to some of the best sledding in the rocky mountains.

Entertainment/dining

Incase you have not been here for a while, a few years back Castle Mountain Resort constructed A beautiful 12,000sqft Day lodge. The day lodge is licensed and has a great menu with cafeteria style eats.  The Day lodge also hosts many social events throughout the season.

The T-bar pub is also a great place to hang out après ski.  Thanks to  Scott Mundell  we will have live music on the weekends gracing the stage in the pub. Good food and great entertainment make this rustic style pub a great place to hang your toque for the evening.  Check out the Specialty pizza, its a favorite among many locals, and visitors.

Relaxing/Hiking/Biking and other activities

Castle Mountain is an excellent place to get away any time of the year.  It is never really crowded here even on the busiest days of the year.  The friendly atmosphere, and serenity of mountain life can be quite addicting.
